Letter from our Vice President of Membership Recruitment:

Hello Ladies!

Welcome to Worcester Polytechnic Institute! WPI is an exceptional community of students who excel in their academic, extra-curricular and personal pursuits. WPI is a home away from home, and Alpha Phi is my second family. I was given the opportunity to meet my Alpha Phi sisters during Formal Recruitment. Formal Recruitment is a great way to learn about Greek Life and each sisterhood WPI offers. WPI's Panhellenic Council hosts Formal Recruitment each fall, and I would love to see you all there! You will learn about each chapter's history, sisterhood, philanthropy, and involvement on campus. To learn more about Greek Life and Formal Recruitment at WPI, please visit the Panhellenic website:

Turning a new page in the book of your life is never easy to do. It can be scary but also very EXCITING! Any Alpha Phi will tell you that going through Recruitment and joining a sorority was one of the best decisions, if not the best decision; they have made entering college.

In Alpha Phi, I feel humbled to be surrounded by one hundred role models. There is always someone around to offer a smile on my best days and a hug on my worst. I have been pushed to succeed, encouraged to excel and empowered to become the best young woman I can be. My sisters put forth their best effort to exemplify our ideals and encourage each other daily to live out our values. The diversity of thought, experiences, and involvement has opened up incredible doors and opportunities for every woman in our chapter and me. Whether we are up late studying, laughing in the campus center, or venturing out on a snow day, Alpha Phi has always proven to support my sisters in all our endeavors and me!

The Greek system at WPI is rare! We are so fortunate to have a community that promotes campus leadership, involvement, friendship, and service. Every woman that will go through Recruitment this year has unique and beautiful potential, and every chapter has a way of allowing that potential to flourish. I am so grateful for Alpha Phi and the sisters, memories, and character development that it has graciously contributed to my life.

From all of us here at Alpha Phi, we look forward to meeting you in August! Good luck & go Greek!

AOE,

Naomi Otoo
