Leadership

SUPPORTING ONE ANOTHER IN LIFELONG ACHIEVEMENT

Alpha Phi is a sisterhood of outstanding women supporting one another in lifelong achievement.

The sisterhood of Alpha Phi stretches from coast to coast and even into Canada.  Sisters share a commitment to excellence and a strong desire to help one another and their communities.  Alpha Phis are leaders, scholars, contributors and lifetime members of a sisterhood that values these traits.

Alpha Phi assists college women in making informed choices to reach their highest potential. Alpha Phi enhances and promotes each member's development and learning by focusing on sisterhood, service, scholarship, leadership, loyalty, and character development.

The innovative leadership and organizational practices of Alpha Phi's Founders in 1872 set the spirit for the Alpha Phi of today; a sisterhood that values the past but looks forward to the progress offered by the future.

Alpha Phi enabled me to become the type of woman I had always admired but never thought I could be. The endless support I have gotten from my sisters has given me the confidence to be in leadership positions I could never imagine, and ultimately the ability to grow immensely as an individual. I truly owe all of my successes over the past few years to this amazing organization.

Alpha Phi has given me so many opportunities. From service to leadership to fun, this organization has provided me with more than I could imagine. This group of supportive sisters has become some of my best friends and role models. I have grown personally in so many ways as a result of Alpha Phi, and I wouldn’t be who I am today without it. I am so happy and proud to be an Alpha Phi.

VICE PRESIDENT OF RECRUITMENT

Naomi Otoo

When I think of the amazing things that I have learned from my sisters in Alpha Phi, I cannot help but be grateful that I was given the opportunity to be a part of something so unique. These women are not just fiercely strong, unshakably loyal, and incredibly intelligent; they are also loving, encouraging, and intentionally kind. In my college experience, I have not found such an enriching network of supportive women as I have in Alpha Phi. I am deeply grateful that in joining Alpha Phi, I found life-long friends, a family, and a home. Knowing these women is a privilege I am so honored to have and a debt I will never be able to repay.

My sisters are some of my biggest motivators, strongest supporters, and best friends.  I am constantly challenged to put forth the best version of myself and am inspired by the uniqueness of each individual sister that forms the chapter I am lucky enough to call home.  Alpha Phi will forever be one of the most rewarding organizations I have been a part of and I am looking forward to all the new and amazing memories yet to be made!

It has been a privilege to be a part of this fraternity thus far. Alpha Phi has not only provided me with a network of strong women who I can now call my sisters, but also has lifted me well up beyond what I could have imagined in terms of leadership and character development. I have already grown into a better version of myself in the short period of time I have been a part of the Iota Omicron chapter and I am more than grateful for the opportunities it has opened for me. I hope to achieve the high ideals of this fraternity and help better myself and my sisters, who I couldn’t imagine my life without, as I grow in the coming years with this wonderful chapter I now call home.

When I joined Alpha Phi, I knew that these were my people. However, I had no idea I would be so deeply moved by the woman I am blessed to call my sisters. I have been given opportunities that I wouldn't have received anywhere else. I have attended a 5 day leadership conference, I have become a part of an amazing sisterhood of woman who I share the same values with, I have surrounded myself with women who challenge me to be a better me every single day. I have become a better scholar, friend, leader. I can't imagine my life without the family Alpha Phi has given me, for that I am eternally indebted
