HELLO CURRENT & FUTURE ALPHA PHI PARENTS
Here in Alpha Phi, together and individually, we bestow and cherish the values of Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Loyalty, and Character Development. We are able to celebrate our sisterhood every day and create bonds that will last a lifetime. Our four years at WPI would not be the same without Alpha Phi. We are so thankful for the empowering group of women we are blessed to surround ourselves with and call our sisters, and for the doors that Alpha Phi opens for us.
After graduating from WPI our alumni go on to do some pretty amazing things. Check out the stories of two of our amazing alumni below as they tell how Alpha Phi has impacted their lives before and after graduation.
A LITTLE ABOUT OUR ALUMNI
Alex Hardin

Alpha Phi was undoubtedly the best part of my undergraduate experience, and there was no question I wanted to stay involved and give back when I graduated. As a collegian, the women I met and opportunities I was given through Alpha Phi helped shape me as a student, leader, and member of my community. I had the pleasure of helping a young chapter grow, and as an alumna, my greatest reward is watching the chapter and our women continue to succeed.
As a volunteer, I support Alpha Phi chapters at WPI, Johns Hopkins University, and MIT. Alpha Phi has continued to introduce me to incredible women- collegians and alumnae- from all chapters across the US. I've learned that Alpha Phi is unique because the experience is certainly beyond four years in college. I continue to learn about myself, how to be a better communicator, project manager and problem solver; and my network of outstanding women in the professional world is ever-expanding.
I'm SO proud to be an Alpha Phi from the WPI chapter, and I look forward to staying involved and support the women that join our chapter in coming years.

Laura Aurilio
I graduated with my BS in Biology and Biotechnology in 2013 and currently I am working a position the biotechnology and biomedical engineering fields at Gateway Park at WPI in Worcester, MA as a research associate and lab manager, employed by the Srinivasan lab and Albrecht Lab. Post-grad I also took on volunteer roles with Alpha Phi Iota Omicron chapter: first as an assistant to the recruitment advisor and now as the full-fledged marketing advisor. I think its important to always be volunteering, and what better way to spend my time then helping out the chapter I was a part of establishing? I invested myself in this chapter back in 2011 as a charter member and am proud to continue my service! Alpha Phi taught me a ton of skills I use everyday including networking, time and group management, organization, dedication and leadership. In my new advisor role, I hope to guide current undergraduate members in the same way I was guided so that they too can reap all the benefits of being a part of Iota Omicron! On a less technical side, I gained lifetime friends and sisters- and that alone was worth it!
